Senator Rilwan Adesoji Akanbi and his amiable wife, Alhaja Zikrah Aduke Akanbi have sent out their congratulatory message and warm felicitations to 42nd Olubadan of Ibadan land, Oba Dr. Mohood Olalekan Ishola Balogun.
Okanlomo of Ibadan land and Yeye Okanlomo of Ibadan land heartily rejoiced with the His Imperial Majesty, Oba Lekan Balogun Alli Okunmade II on the ascension of Olubadan’s throne.
“With gratitude, we thank God for making us all to witness this joyful day of your coronation, and we pray for the protection and prosperity of our beloved Ibadan and our people under your wise and sincere leadership”.
Senator Akanbi who doubles as Mogaji Isagunna commended Ibadan elders and leaders for maintaining the special process that led to pronouncement of Oba Dr. Lekan Balogun as the next Olubadan.
He noted that the unique process of ascension of Olubadan’s throne earned Ibadan a special place in the minds of those outside the city.
Senator pledged his loyalty to the throne and to do his best in attracting developmental projects to Ibadan land.
