Reports filtered in last night that Hon Oriade was kidnapped in front of his office along Akala Express Road by three unidentified gunmen.
Baameko of Ibadanland bemoaned the spate of insecurity bedevilling the state in recent times, and he called on the Oyo State Government to be more proactive in securing lives and properties within the state.
Oloye Oladele expressed sympathy with the family of Hon Wale Oriade and Oyo APC, praying that the gentleman would be rescued and would return home alive and in good health.
He described the incident as most unfortunate and he appealed to Oyo Commissioner of Police, Director of DSS, Commandant of NSCDC, and other relevant security authorities to join hands to make sure that Honourable Oriade is rescued soonest.
