In a bid to reduce the current economic hardship in the country, a non-governmental organisation, Compassion Heights Global Foundation (CHGF Charity), has distributed food items and cash gift to widows, people with disabilities and other vulnerable people in Eruwa, Oyo State.

The group, Compassion Heights Global Foundation (CHGF Charity) in collaboration with the Laribikusu Agbaragba Royal family of Eruwa, under the chairmanship of Prince Oluwasegun Adewale Oke executed the initiative to bring relief to people of Eruwa who are finding difficult to put food on their table and experiencing financial challenge.

The philanthropic gesture was in line with the royal family’s objective to care for the aged, widows, PWD and vulnerable ones in the society.

Founder and Chairman of CHGF Charity, Prince Oluwasegun Adewale Oke, while speaking at the program held on Saturday at the Eruwa Town Hall, noted that the foundation is dedicated to helping the poor with a special focus on widows, people with disabilities and less privileged children in society.

“We have a purpose which is premised on the creation of a society where everyone regardless of the background or circumstances can have access to essential resources and support to thrive and reach their full potential. A lot of people can’t feed themselves due to one reason or the other that has incapacitated them”.

Dignitaries present at the event include, Mr. Abiola Oluwaleye, Adejoke Kazeem Aderonke, Mr. Sola Fakorede, Barrister Ayoola Abiodun, Mr. Abdul Ganiy Okeowo and many others.

Recipients of the philanthropic gesture who could not hide their feelings, appreciated the foundation and royal family for giving back to society.
