Colleges of Education Academic Staff Union, Emmanuel Alayande College of Education, Oyo Branch (COEASU) has joined the citizens of Oyo State in felicitating the Oyo State Governor, Engr. Oluseyi Abiodun Makinde, FNSE on his swearing-in for a second term in office.
The Union, in a release personally signed and made available by its Chairman, Dr. Michael Bamidele Ojo (MOB) described the second term swearing-in of Engr. Makinde as a blessing to the electorates.

According to renowned educationist, “The leadership and members of our great Union- Colleges of Education Academic Staff Union (COEASU), EACOED Chapter joins the electorates in welcoming the Governor of Oyo State, Engr. Oluseyi Abiodun Makinde, FNSE into a second term in office.
While thanking God Almighty for your re-election as Governor for a second term, your Excellency’s emergence at the poll and subsequent sworn-in further confirm the appreciation and show of love of Oyo State citizens on the good works done during your first term. We maintain that you are indeed a man of your words.”
“We as academics in the College see you as a tested and trusted leader who has kept to his words in your relationships with us”. Among other things, “you upgraded our College to a University status which is long overdue while you have defrayed the 2016/2017 arrears owed by previous administration, all these are publicly appreciated. Our trust in your promise through our engagement to pay the 2018/2019 outstanding arrears is unshaken as you have always walked your talk. We are indeed happy as members of Colleges of Education Oyo Academic Staff Union, EACOED, Oyo which has now metamorphosed into Emmanuel Alayande University of Education as your emergence is God ordained and a blessing to the academic community.”
The Iseyin-born unionist further submits, “while congratulating you over your inauguration for a new term of four years, our prayers to God Almighty is to imbue you with more wisdom as you move on in paddling the canoe of the Pace-Setting State”, the release concluded.
