There are officers with their idiosyncrasies, traits and characteristics. Some bosses are Machiavellian in their approaches to work place administration. They are selfish, insensitive, greedy, hungry, cheap, careless, ungrateful, voracious, rude, thoughtless, impolite and thankless. That was the scenario under the watch of one time Bursar of the University of Ibadan. As long as UI exists, the story will be told: ” there was a Bursar”! At the appropriate time, I am aware many UI’s staff will go to the court of law to right the wrong of one time Bursar who used his office to settle personal scores instead of professional dictates.
But thank God for the emergence of Mr. Olayiwola Akanbi Abimbola, who is professionally setting things right in the Bursary of the University of Ibadan. We thank UI’s Council for this wonderful decision in appointing him in this capacity.
It is amazing how you are encouraging Bursary staff to get up to speed in their duties now. Wow! just when I thought your work could not get any better having being destroyed by the immediate past administration, your work ethic speaks for itself. Thanks for always willing to lend a hand. The pride you take in your work is truly inspiring.You are so great to work with.I am continually impressed by the results you produce as you are not corrupt and unnecessarily difficult.
