It’s world Olatunji M. Oladejo’s day. A professional at duty and a true life builder with pure heart.
Mr. Oladejo, a former Faculty Officer, Faculty of Law, University of Ibadan. His outstanding performance as Faculty Officer earned him another exalted appointment. Mr. Oladejo became first Director of Public Communication.

As mouthpiece of University, he served University meritoriously in that capacity. He wasn’t the pioneer of the Director of the Unit alone, he made record by becoming the first Director to serve under four Vice Chancellors of the University.

He served under the 11th Vice Chancellor, Prof. Isaac Folorunsho Adewole, 12th Vice Chancellor, Prof. Idowu Olayinka. While the crisis erupted over who succeeds Prof. Olayinka in office, brilliant manager of information, Oladejo served Acting Vice Chancellor, Prof. Adebola Ekanola before 13th Vice Chancellor’s appointment was ratified by the Governing Council of the University. Oladejo served 13th Vice Chancellor, Prof. Kayode Adebowale briefly before he was appointed as the Director of Ibadan University Press (Publishing House), University of Ibadan.
Olatunji hails from Oje-Igosun, Ibadan, as a true lover of his home town, he served as the former National Secretary and later as National Public Relations of the Central Council of Ibadan Indigenes (CCII), the umbrella organisation of Ibadan Indigenes worldwide.
Olatunji is an amazing team leader every organization that wants prioritize development would be willing to have. His genuine interest to making sure everyone under him succeed is commendable. He has strong native intelligence on how to handle matter between student unionism and management in such a way no harm is done to University and students’ rights are protected always.
