•Prayer Session Holds, 11 Religious Associations Sent Delegates
May 6, 2022 was not only historical about the life of Senator Rilwan Adesoji Akanbi, Okanlomo of Ibadanland as he clocked 60 years on the land of the living.
No doubt, it’s a life well spent. Six decades of outstanding achievement and a family man, lawmaker and philanthropist.
As part of activities put in place to mark his 60th birthday, a prayer Session was held at the precinct mosque built in his Jericho palatial mansion.
A renowned Islamic scholar from prestigious University of Ibadan, Prof. Kamil Oloso and Dr. Akindele led the prayer session.
Prof. Oloso said he wasn’t surprised with consciousness of Sen Akanbi as a son Babasale Musulumi in Ibadan.
As a way of appreciating his impact in their lives, eleven religion groups who sent their delegates to commemorate the 60th birthday anniversary with distinguished Senator Rilwan Adesoji Akanbi were; Yusrulahi, Ansaru-deen, NASFAT, QAREEB, NACOMYO, Ahmadiya 1, Ahmadiya 2, Libra Gold, Nawarudeen, Istijabar and Cooperate
After the prayer session, Senator Akanbi with his family proceeded to Bodija Muslim Community, Mosque to thank almighty Allah for his endless blessings in his life. Chief Imam of Bodija Muslim Community, Mosque, Alhaji Afuye prayed to Allaah to grant Senator Akanbi many more years.
Soji Akanbi was flanked by his wife, Alhaja Zikrat Afolake Akanbi, C.E.O, Libragold Travels and Tours ans Al-furqan Travels and Tours, his sons; Engr Idris Akanbi, C.EO Trifecta, Faruq Akanbi, Chartered Accountant with PWC and Barrister Malik Akanbi working with B&I Law Firm, Ibadan.
The younger brother of Sen Akanbi, Mr. Leke Akanbi and his childhood friend, Engr Kazeem Yomi Lekan Salami.
