Today, Wednesday, November 2, 2022 marks another page in the life of a brother, mentor, teacher of teachers, an academic par excellence and a world renowned Professor of Sports Psychology, Prof. Olufemi Adegbola Adegbesan as he clocks his 55th birthday.
Prof. Olufemi Adegbesan, an Ijebu-Mushin-born Sports Psychologist attended the University of Ibadan for all his degree programmes. He studied Physical & Health Education and by the grace of God and a dint of hard work, he rose to the position of a Professor in the Department of Human Kinetics & Health Education, University of Ibadan.
‘Skira Jojo’ as we fondly call him, is an epitome of wisdom and excellence who believes in bringing out the best in you. He is highly principled and believes he could fight you as his student to ensure that the best he wants is not compromised. He has many research publications to his credit and by the grace of God, he was the former Head, Department of Human Kinetics, Faculty of Education, University of Ibadan, Ibadan.
An unassuming man, a responsible husband and proud father, Prof. Olufemi Adegbesan is married to Mrs. Omotolani Adegbesan and the union is blessed with upwardly mobile children.
Today, we join hundreds of well-wishers in celebrating this great man who contributed immensely to our academic successes. May God Almighty bless you with longevity and sound health in Jesus name sir. You shall never know sorrow in Jesus name.
