The staff and volunteers of Gbenga Obilade’s Foundation, have rolled out the drums to celebrate and congratulate their amazing founder, Ambassador (Dr) Gbenga Clement Obilade, on the occasion of his birthday.
The staff and volunteers through a statement signed by Head of Media and Strategy, Salewa Omoh, described Ambassador Obilade as an extraordinary visionary whose compassion, humanitarian and dedication for community development and youth empowerment have touched countless lives in Egbeda and Ona-Ara LGAs.
The statement described Oil and Gas expert as a selfless and purposeful leader who set aside personal achievements but chose the path where upliftment of others top his priority.
“Through his relentless leadership, Gbenga Obilade’s Foundation has grown into a platform that restores dignity, gives voice to the voiceless and brings light where there was once a despair. His valuable contributions in providing school materials, widows’ empowerment and youth empowerment are footprint that will stand the test of time.
As Bobagunwa of Akinjole Community, in Egbeda LGA, he has used his resources to transform the community and make it more habitable for residents with improved Infrastructure. Our founder’s calmness, character and human face in addressing issues around development placed him above board”.
