Today, I join the vibrant city of Ibadan in celebrating a remarkable son, Professor Aderemi Raji-Oyelade, affectionately known as RemRaj, Mogaji Adegboro Compound, Oja’ba, Ibadan. As he marks his birthday, I celebrate his remarkable contributions to the world of literature, his commitment to the culture and tradition of Ibadanland, and his inspiring mentorship.

Professor Raji-Oyelade’s work is proof of his passion for literary scholarship, and his achievements have earned him numerous accolades in Nigeria and beyond. As a poet of note, he has enriched the literary landscape with his unique voice and perspective.
As he celebrates this significant birthday, I wish him a joy-filled day, surrounded by loved ones and pray that the Lord continues to bless him with good health, happiness and fulfillment. May his heart’s desires be granted, and may he continue to shine as a beacon of wisdom and knowledge.
Happy birthday, Mogaji! Congratulations and cheers to more blessed and fruitful years ahead!
