The portrait of first democratically elected governor of Oyo State since the inception of 4th republic, late Alhaji Lamidi Onaolapo Adesina was on Sunday unveiled by the Central Council of Ibadan Indigenes, CCII.
Alhaji Lam-Adesina who was the governor of Oyo State between 1999 and 2003 died on 11th November, 2012.

Also, the portrait of late Aare Musulumi of Yorubaland including Edo and Delta, Alhaji Abdulazeez Arisekola Alao. The CCII also unveiled the portraits of notable political figure in the second republic, Chief Adisa Akinloye and that Chief Adebisi Idikan as way of honouring their memories.
Loyalists and disciples of the late Alhaji Lam-Adesina were in attendance when the CCII unveiled the portrait. The Deputy Governor to Alhaji Lam-Adesina, Chief Iyiola Oladokun was in attendance. Also Alhaji Fatai Ibikunle, Hon. Mojeed Olaoya, former speaker Asimiyu Alarape, his spokesperson, Alhaji Kehinde Olaosebikan; former commissioners, former lawmakers as well as son of the deceased, Hon. Adedapo Lam-Adesina were all in attendance at the prestigious Ibadan house.
