The Central Council of Ibadan Indigenes (CCII) under the leadership of President-General, Prince Oluyemisi Adeaga has conferred Most Outstanding Friend Of Ibadan (MOFI) Award on Nigerian Communications Commission (NCC) Boards of Commissioners Chairman, Prof. Adeolu Akande.

The Award was conferred on Prof. Adeolu Akande in recognition of his exceptional commitment, outstanding qualities and contribution to development of Ibadanland. The award ceremony took place Obafemi Awolowo Stadium old Liberty Stadium, Ibadan at  the grand finale of the Ibadan Cultural Festival 2023.

Olubadan of Ibadanland, Oba Mohood Olalekan Balogun Alli Okunmade II, members of Olubadan-in-Council, CCII members, sons, daughters and friends of Ibadan were in attendance.

Prof. Adeolu Akande who hails from Otu, Itesiwaju Local Government Area of Oyo State was recognized by famous and prestigious CCII for his contribution to the development of Ibadanland.
