The attention of the Management of the University of Ibadan has been drawn to an online advertisement for free certification courses supposedly available online with which laptops and certificates are provided by the University of Ibadan.
The Management wishes to disclaim this advertisement! All courses for which certificates of the University of Ibadan are awarded are usually considered and approved by the Senate of the University, and free online certification courses were not approved by UI Senate.

This information is not also from the University of Ibadan Distance Learning Centre. The Centre’s collaboration with EDUREX Consult , for short-term certification in various professional programmes at the Centre’s Bodija Office, is certainly not free, and no one is collecting a free laptop.
