President Muhammadu Buhari will decorate Chief Adebayo AbdulWaheed Adelabu with the Order of the Federal Republic (OFR) in May, 2022.
Adelabu, a former Deputy Governor, Central Bank of Nigeria (CBN) has merited the meritorious title of the OFR following his contribution to the development of Nigeria.
Adelabu is one of the leading 2023 governorship aspirants in Oyo State under the platform of All Progressives Congress (APC).
FRESHPAGE gathered that OFR title is among the two orders of merit conferred on Nigerians for their valuable contribution. Both Order of the Federal Republic (OFR) and Order of the Niger (ON) were inaugurated in 1963 by the Federal Government of Nigeria.
The elated Adelabu said he feels highly honoured with the title and thanked President Muhammadu Buhari.
