The University of Ibadan has debunked the viral message in circulation announcing the resumption date for the University as fake.
According to the press statement signed by Registrar of the University, Mrs. Olubunmi Faluyi and obtained by FreshPage with the caption ‘Resumption Date for the University Ibadan is Fake’.
“The story being circulated on the social media feeds on the resumption date for academic activities and guidelines to follow by the students in the University of Ibadan did NOT emanate from the University. Hence, the information is NOT GENUINE.
“Date of resumption of academic activities will be announced accordingly.
“The general public is enjoined to disregard the fake information.”
