Lagos State Police Command has announced the arrest of controversial Lagos socialite, Balogun Eletu, aka Sam Larry.
He was arrested days after the sensational artist died. According to Police, Sam Larry was arrested over an ongoing investigation into circumstances that surround death of singer, Ilerioluwa Aloba, aka Mohbad.
SP Benjamin Hundeyin, the Lagos State Police Command Public Relations Officer, who confirmed the development on his verified Twitter now X page on Thursday also said Sam Larry is assisting with ongoing investigation.
He posted: “Balogun Olamilekan Eletu aka Sam Larry is now in our custody.

“He is currently assisting with ongoing investigation.”
The Nation learnt Sam Larry arrived from Nairobi Kenya around 10pm local time.
He was immediately picked by police officers of to the command headquarters.
Arriving at the headquarters at about 10:30pm, he was taken to see the commissioner of Police where he was questioned and handed over to DC Panti.
