Oyo State Governor, Engr Seyi Makinde on Monday formally present certificate and instrument of office to the 46th Alaafin of Oyo, Oba Abimbola Akeem Owoade.
The presentation of the instrument of office held at the Executive Chambers, Governor’s office, Secretariat, Agodi, Ibadan.

The kingmakers were no where to be found in the picture as Governor present the staff of office to the monarch.
Present at the event were; Deputy Governor, Barr Bayo Lawal, Secretary to the State Government, Prof. Olanike Adeyemo, Speaker Oyo State House of Assembly, Rt Hon. Adebo Ogundoyin, Senator Monsurat Sunmonu, Oyo East LG Chairman, Hon. Oluokun, Prof. Wande Abimbola, who conducted Ifa divination on behalf of Oyo State Government among others.
