Lagos House of Assembly Speaker Rt Hon. Mudashiru Obasa has been impeached by members for gross misconduct.
Hon Mojisola Meranda (Apapa I ) has emerged new Speaker of Lagos State House of Assembly.
The new speaker took oath of office, stating that she will faithful and perform functions honestly to the best of her ability in accordance with the Constitution of the Federal Republic of Nigeria.
