Honourable Peter Olusola Oluokun on Tuesday stormed Oyo State Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) Party Secretariat, Molete to pick nomination form for the position of Chairman, Oyo East Local Government ahead of the upcoming council polls in the State.
Hon. Oluokun, a Supervisory Councilor for Works from Ward 10 Owode/Araromi in Oyo East Local Government was warmly received by party faithful and workers at the party secretariat in Ibadan.
One of the legislative members from Oyo East Local Government, Hon. Wasiu Mustapha (WASPA) who followed Hon. Oluokun to PDP Secretariat in the State said he has no doubt in his capacity to deliver once he elected at the primaries and local government poll.
“He is a grassroots man, an embodiment of what the Local Government needs to transform the lives of all and sundry. He has demonstrated his leadership capacity as Supervisory Councilor for Works, he will definitely do well once given the mandate to serve in larger position”.
Lawmakers from Oyo East Local Government Area who followed Hon. Oluokun to PDP party secretariat were; Hon. Okunade Ademola Idowu, leader of the House, Hon. Adebayo Saheed from Ward 2, Hon. Adebayo Akinkunmi Ward 6, Hon. Adeyinka Saheed Ward 2, Mr. Solomon Oyewole, Mr. Musa Kofoworola, Hon. Lanre Alabi, Hon. Mojeed Hammed.
