Senator Fatai Buhari has defeated the lawmaker representing Iseyin/Itesiwaju/Iwajowa/Kajola federal constituency to secure Oyo North Senatorial ticket for the third time.
Senator Buhari polled a total of 570 votes to defeat Hon. Shina Peller who scored 6 votes at the primaries held in the premises of OYSADEP, Saki.
The keenly contested primaries was moved from Iseyin to Saki after alleged malpractices among the two leading aspirants.
