In the spirit of Ramadan, the Bodija Estate and Environment Muslim Community Youth Wing visited Agodi Prison on March 8, 2025, offering food support to inmates as part of their annual charitable outreach.

Representatives of the Muslim community distributed food items and essential supplies to the inmates, emphasizing the importance of compassion and support for the less privileged, particularly during the holy month.

Speaking during the visit, the Chairman of the Youth Wing, Alhaji Abdulazeez Kolawole highlighted the significance of extending kindness to all members of society, regardless of circumstance.

“Ramadan teaches us about sacrifice, empathy, and generosity. We believe it is our duty to share what we have with those who are most in need,” he said.

Present at the outreach were members of the executive, including Alhaji Abdulazeez Kolawole, Alhaji Shuaib Ishola, and Alhaji Quazeem Oreitan, among others.

Officials at Agodi Prison expressed gratitude for the donation, noting that such initiatives contribute positively to the well-being of inmates and reinforce the importance of community support in rehabilitation efforts.
