Chief Kilani Azeez Ajani, Baale Ilua community in Saki-West Local Government Area of Oyo State has regained freedom from remand after meeting the bail conditions slammed on him by court over alleged assault of a lawyer.
FreshPage reports that Baale Ilua and five others were remanded in Abolongo Correctional Facility in Oyo town for allegedly assaulting Barrister Waheed Lawal in Saki.
The chief while speaking with InsideOyo correspondent via a telephone conversation, on Friday said he is back in Saki after meeting the bail conditions.

Alhaji Kilani Azeez Ajani thanked the people of Saki and other well-wishers for their prayers and support in his ongoing trial.
When asked to speak on the ongoing trial, he said the matter is before a competent court adding that he will not speak on a matter before a court.
His words: “Yes, I’m back home in Saki. I have met the bail conditions given by the court and I have been granted bail. I want to thank the good people of Ilua community, Saki West local government area and well-wishers for their supports and prayers. May Allah bless everyone.
“Sorry, I don’t want to speak on a matter before a competent court of law. The case is before the court, let’s allow the court to decide. Thanks.
“If leaders and elders in Saki call for a peaceful resolution on the matter. I’m ready to honour the invitation and arrangement. As a community chief, I’m in support of anything that will bring peace and harmony.”
