The Academic Staff Union, Emmanuel Alayande University of Education, Oyo has congratulated the new Governing Council Chairman, Professor Ayo Ogunkunle and other members of the Council who were just appointed by the Governor and Visitor to the University, Engr. Oluseyi Abiodun Makinde, FNSE.
According to a release personally signed and made available by the Union Chairman, Comrade Dr. Michael Bamidele Ojo (MOB), he described the appointment as a reflection of His Excellency’s exemplary commitment to quality education. Quoting the release, “Our Union has received with joy the constitution of Governing Council for our University by His Excellency, Oyo State Governor, ‘Seyi Makinde”
“To us at Emmanuel Alayande University of Education, Oyo, this development signals the vision of the Governor for the 127-year old teacher training institution and we are fully ready to join him in the business of placing our institution as one of the best in global ranking. It indeed shows that our Governor means business with tertiary education as we have patiently followed the execution of the recommendations of the implementation committee that worked on the transition of our College to a University”.
