Hon. Ismail Teslim Kunle, Oyo State House of Assembly hopeful for Iseyin/Itesiwaju Constituency has called for peaceful exercise as Oyo State chapter of the All Progressives Congress, APC conduct its State Congress to elect new Executive.
Hon. Teslim in a statement made available to journalists on Tuesday said State Congress is not just a political exercise but a defining moment for Oyo APC in its collective journey towards strengthening party structure, deepening internal democracy and positioning the party for greater victories in 2027 at federal and state levels.

Hon. Teslim urged all delegates across the 33 local councils to participate with conscience and conviction. He admonished the State Executive that will emerge to prioritise competence, loyalty, inclusiveness and proven capacity for service.
He said that the Congress should not divide the party but should strengthen the bonds that unite every member. He drew inferences from division the 2023 cost the party and appealed to members to embrace the new leadership of the party.

“As a House of Assembly hopeful, I firmly believe that the strength of any political movement lies in the integrity, vision, and unity of its leadership. The State Executive we choose today will serve as the engine room of our party’s activities.
