The National Chairman of the All Progressives Congress, APC, Alhaji Umar Abdullahi Ganduje has tendered his resignation as the National Chairman of the his political party.
Ganduje stepped aside on Friday citing health reasons for his decision and needs to focus on his well-being.
Ganduje became National Chairman of the APC in August 2023 few months after the swearing-in ceremony of President Bola Ahmed Tinubu.

Ganduje was the former Governor of Kano from 2015 to 2023.
He is expected to be replaced by the national vice chairman of the party, pending convention in December, 2025.
