The Baameko of Ibadanland, Oloye Saheed Oladele, has expressed sadness over the inferno which ravaged Alesinloye market few days ago.

In a statement released by his media office, Oloye Oladele extended his heartfelt sympathies to the affected traders and business owners. While the exact cause of the fire remains uncertain, he lamented the inadequate emergency response by the Oyo State Fire Service, noting their inability to provide sufficient water to contain the blaze.

Oloye Saheed stressed the need for Oyo state government to shore up its emergency response drive by providing adequate infrastructure and manpower to mitigate against future disasters.

He also called on Governor Seyi Makinde’s administration to provide immediate relief to the victims and take urgent steps toward rebuilding the market, ensuring that traders can resume their livelihoods without prolonged disruption.
