The Senator representing Oyo Central Senatorial District, Senator Yunus Akintunde, has extended warm felicitations to Alhaji Fatai Bayonle Ibikunle on the occasion of his birthday.
In a statement released to the FRESHPAGE by Kunle Olatunji, Special Assistant on Media and Publicity to Senator Yunus Akintunde, the lawmaker described Alhaji Fatai Ibikunle as “a consummate grassroots politician and a compassionate leader with a kind disposition toward humanity, who has demonstrated uncommon commitment to the service of the Nation.”
Senator Akintunde commended Alhaji Ibikunle on his exceptional leadership and human capacity development initiatives, noting that they have significantly contributed to the growth and development of Oyo State, and Nigeria at large.
“Our Party APC in Oyo State and by extension at the National level is privileged to have your kind of personality as a leading figure at this critical period of our Nation building”.
He added that he remains particularly impressed by Alhaji Ibikunle’s recent appointment as an Executive Director of South West Development Commission considering his sterling performances in previous National and sub National public service engagements.
Reflecting on their shared political journey, Senator Akintunde said: “I recollect with nostalgia our days as young politicians and trajectory of our shared values on quality governance and leadership.
