Idris Ajimobi, son of former governor of Oyo State on Sunday installed as Aare Akogun Musulumi of Oyo State by Leagues of Imam and Alfas in the state.
The turbaning ceremony held at Ibadan Central Mosque, Oja ‘ba, Ibadan. The installation of young Idris Ajimobi attracted eminent personalities and Islamic clerics across the country.
The elated mother of the newly installed Aare Akogun Musulumi, Chief Mrs. Florence Ajimobi watched as Chief Imam of Ibadanland, Alhaji AbdulGaniy Abubakry Agbotomokekere and other clerics presented certificate to Idris Ajimobi.
Present at the event were renowned Islamic preacher, Alhaji Muhydeen Ajani Bello, Oyo State Deputy Governor, Engr Rauf Olaniyan, Kano State Governor, Umar Ganduje, Senator Teslim Kolawole Folarin and other political members from Ajimobi dynasty.
