A chieftain of the All Progressives Congress, APC, Senator Teslim Kolawole Folarin has joined eminent Nigerians and distinguished sons and daughters of Oyo State to mourn the demise of Chief Yekini Adeojo.
Senator Folarin’s condolence message was contained in a statement made available via social media platform.
“I extend my condolences to the families and loved ones of our father and leader, Alhaji (Chief) Yekini Adeojo (Seriki Musulumi of Yorubaland)”
Folarin described Chief Adeojo as an accomplished retired soldier, successful industrialist, renowned politician and influential figure in Oyo State and Nigeria at large.

“He was a respected leader and founding father of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) in Oyo State. He played a significant role in shaping the state’s political landscape.
“Baba’s influence in promoting the cultural heritage of Ibadanland and contributions towards the development of Oyo State cannot be forgotten.

“As we mourn the loss of this exceptional statesman, I pray that the bereaved families find strength and comfort in this difficult time.
