Governor Ademola Adeleke of Osun State has unveiled the newly-refurbished Government House in Osogbo, the state capital.

The event, highlighted by an inspection, prayers, and inauguration, marks a significant milestone for the state.

This was disclosed in a statement signed by the spokesperson for the state governor, Olawale Rasheed, and shared on the official X handle of the state government on Sunday.

The statement read in part: “Governor Ademola Adeleke on Saturday afternoon opened the newly-rehabilitated Government House at Osogbo with top officials and dignitaries joining the governor for inspection of the facilities, prayers, and commissioning.

“The rehabilitation covers the main house, the completion of an abandoned multi-bedroom Guest House, remodeling of many of the structures, refixing of many derelict facilities, and facelift of the entire Government House.”

During a brief address to attendees, Adeleke reiterated his administration’s unwavering commitment to enhancing state assets, regardless of their origins.

He emphasized the importance of preserving and improving these resources for both present and future generations.
