Public Affairs Analyst, Sola Abegunde has sent a reminder to the Chairman of the Economics and Financial Crimes Commission, EFCC over a Petition he wrote against Governor Seyi Makinde of Oyo state, Local Government Chairmen, Government Contractors, Alhaji Oriyomi Hamzat and a number of Companies involved in the #998 million exercise books contract.

The reminder to the EFCC Chairman obtained by FRESHPAGE.COM.NG dated January 28, 2026.

In the letter, Mr. Abegunde noted that his original Petition was dated January 8, 2025.

He said he has been to the headquarters of the Commission at Abuja to provide further information on request by the Commission.

Regarding the further request by the Commission to provide information about a particular state Government account, he said he has informed officers of the Commission that such information could be sourced from Sister Agencies.

Mr. Abegunde reiterate his confidence that the Commission is attending to the complaints raised by him in his Petition of January 8, 2025.
