No fewer than 692 newly recruited Education Officers by the administration of Governor Seyi Makinde resumed duties on Monday, September 20, 2021 across different Unity Schools and Technical Colleges in the state.
The Permanent Secretary, Ministry of Education, Science and Technology, Mrs. Aminat Atere confirmed the development in a statement issued on Monday and obtained by FRESHPAGE.COM.NG
Mrs Atere restated the commitment of the Ministry of Education, Science and Technology towards enhancing qualitative education in Oyo State.
The statement explained that the new employees assumed duty on Monday, beginning of a new session, after successfully completing all necessary documentation at the ministry’s headquarters in the Secretariat.
Mrs. Atere congratulated the successful employees being brought on board the state teaching system, adding that much was expected of them.
The Permanent Secretary expressed her utmost gratitude to Governor Seyi Makinde for his prompt approval and support of the recruitment process.
She charged the new employees to reciprocate the good gestures of the state government by contributing positively to the development of Oyo state Education Sector, hinting that the official induction and training would come up soon.
