The 14th Governing Council, Emmanuel Alayande College of Education, Oyo under the amiable leadership of Prof. Matthew Odedokun has joined eminent sons and daughters of Oyo State to felicitate the Oyo State Governor, Engr. Oluseyi Abiodun Makinde, FNSE as he turns 55 today, Sunday, 25 December, 2022.

In a release made available by the Special Assistant on Media Matters to the Ag. Provost, ‘Wale Adeoye quoting the College Chief Executive, Dr. Nelson Aderemi Oyewo, “Today, we join eminent citizens of Oyo State in celebrating the birthday of the people’s Governor, His Excellency, Engr. Oluseyi Abiodun Makinde, FNSE as he marks his 55th birthday, today, Sunday, 25 December, 2022. Your Excellency, On behalf of the Chairman, 14th Governing Council, Prof. Matthew Odedokun, the distinguished Council members, College Management, Staff and Students of Emmanuel Alayande College of Education, Oyo, I wish to register our hearty congratulations on your 55th birthday, Sir.”

The release further states, “As a College, we acknowledge your giant strides in the area of peace restoration to all the tertiary institutions in Oyo State. Your pitching tent with Oyo State civil servants as manifested in prompt payment of salaries and restoration of 100% salary have engendered quality service delivery among staffers of Emmanuel Alayande College of Education, Oyo. We jointly say kudos to Your Excellency Sir particularly on the recent upgrade of our College to a University status.”

The EACOED Governing Council further prayed for long life in sound health and wellness for His Excellency, Engr. Oluseyi Abiodun Makinde, FNSE. “May God Almighty continue to imbue you with wisdom in the paddling of the canoe of the Pace-Setting State”, the release concluded.
