South West Agenda (SWAGA), a socio-political group formed by progressive forward thinkers in the South-West region has predicted landslide victory for President Bola Ahmed Tinubu come 2027 general elections.

The group made this known on Tuesday through its leader, Prince Dayo Adeyeye while addressing newsmen in Lagos about the achievements recorded by President Tinubu across various sectors of the economy since he became president in 2023.
SWAGA affirmed that President Tinubu will have clear path way to emerge victorious in the 2027 presidential elections.

Prince Adeyeye maintained that the confidence Nigerians reposed in President Tinubu to vote him in 2023 was not in vain. Adeyeye knocked the tricks of rival aspirants who are wooing Nigerians with a one term promise, describing such politicians as jesters.
Prince Adeyeye was accompanied by other chieftains of the group; Bosun Oladele, Adetilewa Sijuwade, Julius Oloro, Muniru Hakeem Abiodun, and Deji Jakande.
The SWAGA leader also faulted the argument of those he called subjective observers who think the North would not vote for the President in 2027.
He said those peddling the falsehood are not in tune with reality, stressing that the political atmosphere in the North shows that President Tinubu would be re-elected.
“President Tinubu will have a landslide victory in 2027. Some aspirants are talking about one term. One term is deceitful. There is no certainty in it. Nobody would leave certainty for uncertainty.
“What can they do in one term of four years? That means they want power for themselves only.”
The SWAGA leader also dismissed the alleged Yorubanisation of public appointments, saying the President has been fair to the six regions.
Highlighting President Tinubu’s achievements, he said the feats would recommend him to Nigerians for re-election.
Adeyeye said: “President Tinubu has not disappointed us who believe in his vision for Nigeria and his capability to drive the mission.”
The SWAGA leader, who is also the chairman of the board of the Nigerian Ports Authority (NPA), lauded the President’s prompt removal of the corrupt, crippling and evil fuel subsidy that fleeced the country for decades and robbed it of legacy developmental projects whilst enriching a few and impoverishing the multitude.
He said: “The results are visible in more money to the state coffers and the Ministries, Departments and Agencies (MDAs) across the country. It is noteworthy that every notable presidential candidate in the last general election pledged to remove fuel subsidy, but we in SWAGA knew that the only person bold enough among them to hit the ground running about this was Asiwaju Bola Ahmed Tinubu. We were vindicated…”
“He floated the Naira and stopped the reckless printing of currency and corrupt borrowing through the unpopular ‘ways and means’ to defend it against the U.S. dollars, thus ensuring stability in its value with increased inflow of Foreign Direct Investment aided by confidence in Nigeria’s economy.
