Oyo State Governor, Engr Seyi Makinde has ruled out possibility of joining All Progressives Congress, APC. He emphasized that he is comfortable in People’s Democratic Party, PDP as political permutations for 2027 general elections taking shape.

He made the submission at the Aso Villa shortly after he met with President Bola Ahmed Tinubu along with the Plateau State Governor, Caleb Muftwang, who recently joined the ruling All Progressives Congress, APC.
Governor Makinde said: “We may have issues in this country where you need bipartisan approach. An approach where APC, PDP and other parties decide what’s best for the country”.
