Alhaji Adebisi Olopoeyan has disclosed that it was national leader of All Progressives Congress APC, Asiwaju Bola Ahmed Tinubu that invited him to a meeting in order to woo him to the ruling party in the country ahead of his presidential ambition.
The PDP chieftain disclosed this to Oyo based online newspaper, OyoInsight that he has had a lot about the picture he took with national leader of the ruling party, Asiwaju Bola Ahmed Tinubu which has gone viral. Alhaji Olopoeyan said he respectfully replied Asiwaju Tinubu that he is still a member of People’s Democratic Party PDP and has no ambition to dump the party that produced Gov Seyi Makinde in Oyo State.
Alhaji Olopoeyan who recounted how the late former Governor of the State, Senator Abiola Ajimobi tried all his best in 2012 to woo him to All Progressives Congress APC but declined the gesture in good fate.
Alhaji Olopoeyan who played a prominent role in emergence of Seyi Makinde as the PDP guber candidate in 2019 which he later won as governor of the state is not having a good relationship with the governor. He has revealed this in a viral video that where he alleged governor Seyi Makinde of dumping those that worked for him. He has faulted those that were given appointments under the party that they were shortchanged.
