Senator Rilwan Adesoji Akanbi has solicited for the support of artisans in Oyo State to realize Asiwaju Bola Ahmed Tinubu’s presidential ambition come next year general elections.
Senator Akanbi made the call when he met with the leadership of the Oyo State Artisans Group ably led by its Chairman, Alhaji Kolayode Hamzat.
After hours of deliberation with the leaders of the group, the leaders of the group unanimously pledged to work and support the presidential candidate of the All Progressives Congress (APC) Asiwaju Bola Ahmed Tinubu in the forthcoming general elections.
At the meeting, the group agreed to set up a joint committee to galvanize and mobilize votes for emergence of Tinubu come 2023.
Senator Rilwan Adesoji Akanbi therefore, admonished the group to orientate and advise their members to get their PVCs so as to reduce or eradicate political apathy in Southwest States, Nigeria.
