As 2023 general elections draw closer, Oyo State chapter of Social Democratic Party (SDP) has unveiled Barrister Michael Folorunsho Lana as the party’s governorship candidate.
Lana on Wednesday unveiled at the party’s secretariat in Abuja as the standard bearer of Oyo SDP. Lana hails from Agugu area of Ibadan East Local Government Area and have his village in Ladutan in Ona-Ara Local Government Area of the state.
Present at the unveiling of Barrister Lana as SPD gubernatorial candidate were the party’s Michael Okunlade, Oyo North Senatorial Candidate, Hon. Mulikat Adeola Akande and other party officials.
Lana would be slugging it with incumbent Governor Seyi Makinde who is seeking re-election in PDP, Senator Teslim Kolawole Folarin as APC guber candidate, Chief Adebayo Adelabu, ACCORD Party candidate and others.
