Barely six days after Erudite Group Chairman, Mr Saheed Oladele was conferred with Baameko of Ibadanland by Olubadan of Ibadanland, Oba Mohood Olalekan Balogun Alli Okunmade II, the young and energetic Oladele on Saturday, December 16, 2023 performed his first duty as keynote speaker at Association of Nigerian Authors’ event held in Ibadan.
Mr Oladele said the event gave him opportunity to explore the African Heritage Research Library and Cultural (AHRLCC), Adeyipo Village in Igbo Elerin, Ibadan.
Oyo State ANA Chairman described Baameko of Ibadanland as cerebral and resourceful personality after he spoke on the topic: ” Connection between Literature and Culture”. ANA Chairman thanked Olubadan of Ibadanland for the choice of Mr Saheed Oladele as Baameko.

While exposing the potential and strength of the Centre, Erudite Group Chairman said that library has over 100,000 books in a conducive environment. He said was amazed seeing different bookshelves for African medicine, African economics, African politics, African literature, African history, African sociology among others.
Baameko of Ibadanland called on governments at different levels to construct road that leads to AHRLC. He said the edifice is more than a library. He described it as depository of African precious intellectual resources and valuables that will be very useful to researchers, students and tourists.
He commended the role played by former governor of Osun, Ogbeni Rauf Aregbesola and Chief Afe Babalola for tangible things they did at the Centre.
Mr Oladele assured participants at the event that the library will be on the list of ‘to-develop’ schools being compiled by Office of Baameko (OBI).
