The Pro-Chancellor and Chairman of Governing Council, Emmanuel Alayande University of Education, Oyo, Professor Ayoade Olayiwola Ogunkunle has joined all Oyo sons and daughters in congratulating the new Alaafin of Oyo, His Imperial Majesty, Oba Abimbola Akeem Owoade as he emerged as the 46th Alaafin of Oyo.
According to a release made available by the Media and Public Relations Office and signed by the Registrar and Secretary to Council, Mrs. Olubunmi Siju’ Asunmo, she stated, “the Pro-Chancellor and Chairman of Council, Professor Ayoade Olayiwola Ogunkunle on behalf of the Governing Council, Senate, Staff and Students of Emmanuel Alayande University of Education, Oyo heartily rejoices with our new Kabiyesi, His Imperial Majesty, Oba Abimbola Akeem Owoade on his ascension to the throne of his forebears as the 46th Alaafin of Oyo. We appreciate His Excellency, Engr. Oluseyi Abiodun Makinde, FNSE for his undiluted belief in peaceful co-existence in every part of Oyo State- Oyo town inclusive.
