The Coalition Movement for Bola Ahmed Tinubu (CoMBAT) pioneered by Senator Rilwan Adesoji Akanbi for presidential project of Asiwaju Bola Ahmed Tinubu come 2023 started on a promising note as high powered consultation was initiated by the apex leadership of artisans in Oyo state.
The artisans pledged to support Asiwaju Bola Ahmed Tinubu for president project at the meeting held in CoMBAT office, Oluyole, Ibadan. They cited that Asiwaju Bola Ahmed Tinubu is well known to them.
During the meeting, the artisans highlighted various dividends of democracy they benefitted in the past through Senator Rilwan Adesoji Akanbi.
They stressed that Senator Akanbi is like household name to them since the time he served as Special Adviser to H.E Alhaji Lam Adesina between 1999 and 2003 and the most recent as a member in the Red chambers.
The group with a database of over 200,000 members scattered all over the state promised to earnestly start with mobilization for members and their families to go get the PVC in preparation of actualising a monumental turnout when February 2023 comes.

“Asiwaju Bola Ahmed Tinubu remains the only candidate from South West, other top political parties like PDP picked its presidential candidate from North East and Vice Presidential candidate from the South South, while Labour Party picked its presidential candidate from South and Vice Presidential candidate from the North, NNPP presidential candidate is from the North West while his Vice Presidential candidate is from the South South as well. Tinubu is the only candidate from South West, hence, he deserves our support following his track record as former governor of Lagos State”.
