Oba Rashidi Adewolu Ladoja, Olubadan of Ibadanland has received the good news of safe release of 20 prospective NYSC members who were kidnapped in Anambra State last week on their way Orientation Camp in Imo State.
Imo state governor, Senator Hope Uzodimma confirmed the release of the 20 prospective NYSC members who departed Ibadan last week for compulsory National Youth Service Corps.
Special Aide to Olubadan, Adeola Oloko said Imperial Majesty received the good news around 5:00pm from Senator Uzodimma via telephone conversation.
FreshPage reports that the parents of the students had stormed the residence of Olubadan located in Ondo Street pleading for intervention of the monarch to achieve safe rescue of the sons and daughters in captivity.
