Honourable Dolapo Adelana (DOAF), ADC candidate for the Oyo State House of Assembly representing Oluyole State Constituency, has joined thousands of well-wishers, traditional leaders, political stakeholders, community leaders and residents of Ibadanland to celebrate the 82nd birthday of the Olubadan of Ibadanland, Oba Rasheed Adewolu Ladoja, Arusa I.
Hon. Adelana described the revered monarch as a father, hero, mentor and leader, whose contributions to the development of Ibadanland and Oyo State continue to attract recognition and respect across generations.
In a birthday message, Adelana extended warm felicitations to the Olubadan, celebrating his longevity, wisdom, experience and enduring commitment to the people of Ibadanland.

According to him, attaining the age of 82 is not only a personal milestone for the monarch but also an opportunity for the people to appreciate a life dedicated to public service, leadership, community development and the preservation of the cultural heritage of Ibadanland.

He further prayed for the continued good health, wisdom and long life of the monarch, expressing hope that his reign would continue to bring peace, unity and progress to Ibadanland.
Adelana also acknowledged the important role traditional institutions play in promoting unity, preserving cultural values and providing guidance to communities.
He described Oba Ladoja’s journey as one marked by significant public service and leadership, noting that his wealth of experience remains a source of inspiration to younger generations.
The ADC candidate urged the people of Oyo State, particularly residents of Ibadanland, to continue to respect and support the traditional institution while working collectively for the advancement of the state.
