The Okanlomo Oodua and Gbonka Olubadan of Ibadanland, Chief (Engr.) Jubril Dotun Sanusi, has felicitated with the Olubadan of Ibadanland, His Imperial Majesty, Oba (Senator) Rashidi Adewolu Ladoja, ARUSA I, on the occasion of his 82nd birthday.
In a birthday message, Chief Jubril Dotun Sanusi described Oba Ladoja as a respected elder statesman and traditional ruler whose wealth of experience, wisdom and service continue to be valuable to Ibadanland and Yorubaland.
Chief Sanusi expressed appreciation for the life, leadership and contributions of the monarch, noting that the people of Ibadanland are privileged to have a father and custodian of tradition whose presence continues to inspire unity, peace and progress.
He said: “Kabiyesi, today I celebrate you not only as our revered monarch but as a father, elder statesman and custodian of the heritage of our beloved Ibadanland. Your life is a testament to service, wisdom and dedication to our people.”
The Okanlomo Oodua further prayed that Almighty God would continue to preserve Oba Ladoja, grant him sound health, wisdom, peace and renewed strength to continue serving the people.
“On your 82nd birthday, I pray that Almighty God grants Your Imperial Majesty many more years in good health, happiness, peace and fulfilment. May you continue to enjoy the love, respect and goodwill of your people, and may your remaining years be filled with abundant blessings and memorable moments,” he added.
Chief Jubril Dotun Sanusi extended his warm birthday wishes to the Olubadan’s family, the Olubadan-in-Council, traditional chiefs and the entire people of Ibadanland.
