Senator (Dr) Sharafadeen Alli, the All Progressives Congress (APC) governorship candidate in Oyo State, has congratulated a chieftain of the party, Hon. Yinka Taiwo, on the occasion of his birthday.
In a statement on Wednesday, Alli described Taiwo as a committed, dependable and patriotic party leader whose years of service to the political development of Oyo State had earned him widespread respect among party members and stakeholders.
Alli said Taiwo’s political journey, experience and steadfast commitment to the party had continued to make him an important stakeholder in the APC, particularly in the areas of party cohesion, grassroots mobilisation and leadership.
The APC candidate recalled Taiwo’s contributions to political organisation in the state, noting that his experience across different political responsibilities had positioned him as a bridge-builder and a voice of wisdom within the political space.
“Taiwo served as a former chairman of the Oyo State chapter of the Peoples Democratic Party before joining the APC and has subsequently played roles in the party’s political activities.
“He is a man of uncommon political experience, courage and commitment. His contributions to the growth of progressive politics in Oyo State cannot be overlooked. He has remained steadfast in his service to the party and the people, and this deserves commendation,” Alli said.
He added that Taiwo’s wisdom, maturity and dedication would remain valuable assets to the APC as the party continued its efforts toward strengthening its structures and providing purposeful leadership in Oyo State.
Alli prayed that God would grant Taiwo long life, sound health, greater wisdom and renewed strength to continue serving humanity and contributing meaningfully to the development of Oyo State.
