Governor Seyi Makinde on Friday inaugurated members of Judicial Commission of Inquiry for Oriire abduction at the Council Chamber, Agodi Secretariat, Ibadan.
Governor Makinde in his remarks during the inauguration said the assignment of the Commission is to establish facts, identify any institutional or operational lapses.
He said the Commission is expected to recommend measures that will strengthen the protection of schools and communities in Oyo State.

He reiterated that outcome of Commission of Inquiry will help to ensure that such tragedy never happens again.
FreshPage reports that no fewer than 47 pupils and teachers were kidnapped in May, in Community secondary school, Ahoro-Esinele and Yawota communities.

While speaking at the inauguration further, Gov Makinde appreciated all members of the Commission who have agreed to serve.
Members of the Judicial Commission of Inquiry are; Hon Justice M. A. O. Owoade, JCA (Retd) – Chairman, Prof Jibrin Ibrahim, Mrs Ayo Obe, AIG Ngozi Onadeko (Retd), Barr. Abimbola Orogade, Maj. Gen. S. N. Muazu (Retd), Mr Folorinsho Osunrayi (Director DSS – Retd), The Secretary of the Commission of Inquiry is Barr (Mrs) Olamide Sandra Tella.
