Oyo State Governor, Engr Seyi Makinde on Saturday visited a community in Oriire Local Government where abduction of teachers and students happened two weeks ago to sympathise with the community and family members abductees.

Governor Makinde while addressing the people stressed the impact his administration is making to ensure safe return of all abductees. He promised them all those in captivity shall be rescued alive and reunited with their families.

“By God’s grace, we will bring them out. It’s an ongoing operation with security implications which I can’t say outside.I know you are bleeding, I am also bleeding in my heart, have trust in your government”.
Prof. Wole Alamu, the husband of Principal of Community High School, Ahoro-Esinele, who spoke during the visit by Governor Makinde acknowledged the roles of government to rescue his wife and others. He charged the government to intensify its rescue efforts mission.
