Chieftain of Oyo state All Progressives Congress, APC, Chief Wale Ohu will be leading the Committee saddled with the responsibilities of conducting the Governorship and House of Assembly primaries for Ogun State.
The House of Assembly primary election is scheduled to hold on Wednesday, 20th of May, 2026 while the Governorship primary election will hold on Thursday, 21st of May, 2026 respectively.
For the Governorship primary, the Panel headed by Chief Wale Ohu will supervise the affirmation of Senator Solomon Olanrewaju aka YAYI as the sole Governorship Aspirant for the APC in Ogun State.
FreshPage reports that Chief Wale Ohu had before now, undertaken such sensitive assignments on behalf of the Party at both Ogun and Ondo states respectively.
His records of successes on such critical assignments must have been noticed and appreciated by the National Leadership of the party, prompting the Leadership to saddle him with this fresh assignment.
Chief Wale Ohu was critical to the several moves that culminated in the emergence of a single Governorship Aspirant for Ogun State and it is expected that he will handle the current assignment successfully as he always does.

He is leading a seven-man Committee for this critical assignment. Other members of the Committee include Dr. Abdulahi Shuaib Hashim ( Secretary), Amb. Thomas Oduh,( Benue state), Hon. Olagorokun Olakunle, ( Ekiti state), Hon. Olotu Akinpola Samuel, ( Ondo state), Dume Goyit and Golepji Gowap.
