The Chairman, Oyo State chapter of the All Progressives Congress, Chief Moses Alake Adeyemo has urged the teeming party faithful, stakeholders and aspirants in the state to shun any information or documents relating to consensus list of candidates from the state ahead of the 2027 general elections.
Chief Adeyemo made the clarification in a statement issued on Sunday, barely days after conclusion of the 4th National Convention of the party in Abuja.
He reiterated that the leadership of the party at the state hasn’t prepared any consensus list of candidates or endorsed by any individual or group from within or outside the state.
Chief Adeyemo the state chapter hasn’t received the guidelines from APC Headquarters in Abuja on how to go about process that will produce candidates of the party ahead of the 2027 general elections.
He said any documents or information in circulation contrary to what he issued should be regarded as the handiwork of the saboteurs who do not wish the party and society well ahead of the 2027.
“As we condemn their activities and intentions, we urge them to turn a new leaf and toe the rational path of democracy and the rule of law to champion whatever political cause which they might have.

“More importantly, we urge you all to disregard the satanic list which contains the names of purported Governorship, Deputy Governorship, Senatorial, House of Representatives (and House of Assembly) candidates of the Oyo APC as it did not emanate from the Party”.
