Amb. (Dr) Gbenga Obilade, a chieftain of the All Progressives Congress and founder of the Gbenga Obilade’s Foundation has congratulated the newly emerged Oyo State APC Party Chairman, Chief Moses Alake Adeyemo and other Executive Members at the Congress held on Tuesday, March 3, 2026.

Dr Obilade said the unanimous adoption of former Deputy Governor, Chief Adeyemo and other State Executive Members is a clear testament to the confidence, trust and respect they command across various tendencies and stakeholders of the party.

Dr Obilade who is the Bobagunwa of Akinjole Community in Egbeda LGA said the decision of leaders and delegates to rally round behind Chief Adeyemo without rancor reflects shared commitment of harmony and progress in Oyo APC.

Dr Obilade emphasized that Oyo APC remains focused on strengthening internal cohesion and preparing strategically ahead of the 2027 general elections. He reiterated that Chief Adeyemo’s emergence came at a crucial time Oyo APC needs a unifier and a leader that listens, consults and leads with fairness.

Dr Obilade commended the Secretary of the State Congress Committee, Hon. Bolaji Afeez Repete, the former Deputy National Youth Leader of the party and other members of the Committee for conducting a hitch-free Congress.

Bobagunwa of Akinjole appealed to other Executive Members of the Oyo State APC to work in harmony with the Chairman in order to return the party to power come 2027 general elections in the State.

Dr Obilade pledged to support the new leaders of the party as a stakeholder. He stressed that the strength of the executive lies not only in its composition but in the collective goodwill and cooperation of the party faithful.
